| Description | Students develop artistic awareness and understanding using a variety of media and techniques. This may include painting, drawing, design, printmaking, ceramics and sculpture.
Students are introduced to perspective and its’ value and use in art. |
| Topics | Students study Elements of Art, Perspective, Typography, Vincent Van Gogh and other negotiated topics based on student interest. |
| Assessment | In line with the Australian Curriculum achievement standards, students are assessed against the strands of Exploring & Responding, Developing Practices & Skills, Creating & Making and Presenting & Performing. |
| Suggested Prior Learning | Successful completion of Year 8 Visual Art. |
