DescriptionThis subject focuses on Science, Mathematics and Engineering principles through a Design and Systems Technology problem based learning approach. The learning will develop skills such as problem solving, analytical thinking and collaborative teamwork to manufacture a range of structures including a scale model of a bridge. Through the design process students will explore how innovations in structural engineering have contributed to the world we live in today and how they will change how we live in the future.

A strong interest in STEM subjects such as Science and Mathematics is an essential requirement for students to be successful in this subject.
