DescriptionThis course is designed for students with a keen interest in Photography. Students expand their understanding of the functions of the compact camera and their phones and be introduced to the DSLR camera. Students will also further develop photo manipulation skills.

Students are exposed to the exciting possibilities that photography has to offer in today's social media setting. This encompasses the ability to take a well-composed snap shot, to a digitally enhanced advertisement, to a work of art in the social media realms. Students research the influence of photography in a historical and contemporary context will also be explored.
