DescriptionThis course is designed for students with a keen interest in Photography.

Students are exposed to the exciting possibilities that photography has to offer in today's society. This encompasses the ability to take a well-composed snap shot, to a digitally enhanced advertisement, to a work of art. This is a practical course where students develop an understanding of the camera, creative camera compositions and the onboard tools of macro, sports assist and the flash. Students research the impact of digital manipulation and the importance of images in society. The influence of photography in a historical and contemporary context will also be explored.
