Notes
- Stage 1 subjects are offered as two individual semester subjects. If subjects are named as 1 and 2, then you can only enrol for the second semester if you have enrolled in the first semester. e.g. Physics is offered as Physics 1 and Physics 2. You can only enrol in Physics 2 if you have also enrolled in Physics 1.
- If the subjects are named as A and B, then you can enrol in the second semester without having to enrol in the first. e.g. Psychology is offered as Psychology A and Psychology B. You can enrol in Psychology B without having to enrol in Psychology A.
- SACE Stage 1 English as a Second Language should only be chosen by students who speak English as a second language or as an additional language, and whose knowledge of English is restricted.
- Students selecting stage 1 Maths Methods should select both semesters if they wish to do Maths Methods in Year 12. Students should also select stage 1 Specialist Maths for the full year if they wish to do Specialist Mathematics in Year 12.
- Students in Year 11 & 12 can also choose from an extensive range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses. Further information about VET courses is available in the subject listings.
- Whilst every effort is made to place students in the subjects of their first choice, some combinations may not be possible due to a number of factors. Students will be required to nominate reserve subjects in order of preference when choosing their course.
- It is highly recommended students use the online SACE Planner and Checker. It is an online tool that allows students and teachers to plan and check enrolments towards the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). The tool is accessible via the SACE website at provided they have a SACE registration number.
